The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of site supervision experience, strong knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar on-site supervisory role in construction.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage diverse on-site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specifications.

About the role

LBG TOP BUILDERS SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor (Construction) to join our team in the Muar District, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful execution of our construction projects. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional construction projects on time and within budget, acting as a key link between senior management and on-site teams.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications and timelines

Monitor workforce productivity and ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures

Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and minimise workplace incidents

Inspect work quality at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications

Manage material and equipment inventory, coordinating deliveries and ensuring resources are available when needed

Communicate regularly with project managers, clients and subcontractors to report progress, identify issues and implement solutions

Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports and incident documentation

Train and mentor site staff on safety procedures, best practices and technical requirements

Resolve on-site conflicts and disputes professionally and efficiently

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, environmental standards and local authority requirements

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage diverse teams effectively

Sound understanding of project management principles and the ability to monitor timelines and budgets

Competency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required for project needs

Relevant certifications in construction safety, first aid or project management are highly desirable

Proficiency in basic computer skills and construction management software is advantageous
