Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a civil/ construction-related degree or diploma.
• Strong interest in construction supervision and project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse teams.
• Good organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic site environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Supervisor in coordinating daily construction activities and timelines.
• Monitor site operations for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Support supervision of workers and contractors, including attendance and productivity tracking.
• Inspect materials, equipment and workmanship to meet project specs and quality standards.
• Help prepare and maintain site records, documentation, and daily reports.

About the role

GRAVITY INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Supervisor Intern to join our team in Ara Damansara, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to develop practical experience in construction site supervision and project management. In this role, you will work alongside experienced supervisors to learn the intricacies of managing construction operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry whilst contributing meaningfully to our ongoing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the Site Supervisor in coordinating daily construction activities and ensuring adherence to project timelines
• Monitoring site operations to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Supporting the supervision of workers and contractors on site, including attendance and productivity tracking
• Helping to inspect materials, equipment and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards
• Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of site records, documentation and daily reports
• Communicating with project management, site teams and external stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues
• Supporting the organisation and maintenance of site facilities, tools and equipment
• Learning and applying construction methodologies, safety protocols and best practices throughout the internship
