Job summary

Sheure Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to lead on-site construction activities in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time role requires overseeing daily operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring health, safety and quality standards are upheld to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will manage labour, read construction drawings, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety practices and relevant regulations.
• Proven ability to manage labour effectively and maintain team discipline on site.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Computer literacy with experience in site management software or Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Relevant qualifications such as CIDB certification or equivalent construction management qualifications are preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and specifications.
• Monitor labour productivity and manage workforce allocation to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive site records including daily reports, attendance logs, material documentation and progress updates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for any deviations from project plans or quality standards.
• Manage site resources including equipment, materials and facilities efficiently.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Liaise with project management and clients to provide regular updates on project progress.
• Train and mentor site personnel to ensure competency and professional development.
