Job summary

Victorious Realty Sdn. Bhd. in Kuching, Sarawak, is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our construction team on-site. This full-time role oversees daily operations, co-ordinates crews, and ensures safety, quality, and budget adherence across all phases.

You will manage on-site activities, conduct inspections, review drawings, and report progress to project managers while maintaining documentation and site foreman duties. Proficiency in English and Malay is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience in construction.
• CIDB or equivalent safety certification is required.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication in English and Malay; Mandarin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including material management, equipment operation, and workforce deployment.

About the role Victorious Realty Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily construction operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing personnel, and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality across all construction phases.

Key responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on-site, including material management, equipment operation, and workforce deployment

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and relevant construction standards

Conducting daily site inspections and toolbox briefings to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Managing and motivating construction teams, including labourers, tradespeople, and subcontractors

Monitoring project progress against schedules and budgets, identifying delays and implementing corrective actions

Quality assurance and defect rectification to ensure work meets design specifications and contractual requirements

Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, incident logs, and material deliveries

Liaising with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve issues

Ensuring site cleanliness, organisation, and proper storage of materials and equipment

Managing site security and controlling access to the construction area

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent supervisory role in the construction industry

Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, building practices, and relevant safety regulations in Malaysia

Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate diverse workforces

Proficiency in health and safety management, with relevant certifications such as CIDB or equivalent

Competency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

Strong communication skills in English and Malay; Mandarin is advantageous

Physical fitness and ability to work on-site in various weather conditions

Problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
