Job summary

Vestland Resources, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Site Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery schedules, material handling, and on-site coordination for construction projects.

You will oversee inventory, equipment usage, safety compliance, and reporting, coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure timelines and quality while maintaining site efficiency and orderly storage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction site logistics or similar role.
• Experience in building construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage delivery schedules for construction materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and transporters.
• Ensure timely arrival of materials to avoid project delays.
• Supervise loading, unloading and storage of materials on site.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage or damage.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement for material requisition.
• Oversee movement and allocation of machinery and equipment on site.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance coordination.
• Track equipment usage and availability.
• Work with site engineers, supervisors and contractors.
• Ensure logistics support aligns with construction schedule.
• Resolve site logistics issues promptly.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with safety regulations.
• Enforce proper handling procedures and use of PPE.
• Maintain clean and organized storage and working areas.
• Prepare daily/weekly logistics reports.
• Maintain delivery orders (DO), invoices and stock records.
• Report delays, shortages or damages to management.

Requirements

• Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years experience in construction site logistics or similar role.
  • Experience in building construction projects is an advantage.
