Job summary

Megalift is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Shah Alam, Malaysia to coordinate the delivery and movement of materials and project cargo to the data centre site. The role involves planning schedules with suppliers, transporters, contractors and site teams, arranging transportation, and ensuring timely site deliveries.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related field and 1–2 years’ experience in logistics coordination, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel).

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business admin or related field.
• Experience in logistics coordination, transportation, warehouse or project logistics.
• Familiarity with delivery coordination and shipment tracking.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery and movement of materials, equipment and project cargo to/from data centre site.
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, transporters, contractors and site teams.
• Arrange transportation, loading/unloading and material handling activities.
• Coordinate site delivery bookings, access permits, security clearance and delivery slots.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure timely arrival at site.
• Prepare and maintain delivery orders, transport documents and schedules.
• Coordinate with warehouse and site teams for receiving, storage and movement of materials.
• Track shipments and provide updates on status, delays or changes.
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive or high-value equipment where applicable.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with site safety, security and project procedures.

This role involves coordinating the delivery and movement of materials, equipment, and project cargo to and from the data centre site, managing delivery schedules, transportation logistics, and ensuring compliance with site procedures and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery and movement of materials, equipment, and project cargo to and from the data centre site
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, transporters, contractors, and site teams
• Arrange transportation, loading/unloading, and material handling activities
• Coordinate site delivery bookings, access permits, security clearance, and delivery slots
• Monitor incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensure timely arrival at site
• Prepare and maintain delivery orders, transport documents, delivery schedules, and logistics records
• Coordinate with warehouse and site teams to ensure proper receiving, storage, and movement of materials
• Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status, delays, or changes
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive, oversized, or high-value equipment where applicable
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with site safety, security, and project procedures

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, warehouse, or project logistics
• Experience in construction, data centre, engineering, or project logistics is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of delivery coordination and transportation arrangements
• Familiar with logistics documentation and shipment tracking
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Able to work in a fast-paced project environment and coordinate with multiple parties
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Willing to work on-site and commit to the 3–6 month contract period
