We are a G7 construction company based in Kuala Lumpur, seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer/Site Supervisor to oversee the planning and construction of projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
About the role
- To assist the Project Manager and Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of construction schedules, resource planning, and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies
- Ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
- Liaise with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical problems.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project.
- Monitor and verify work progress prepare progress reports and support scheduling updates.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction teams on site.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor subcontractors’ activities at project sites.
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
- Verify and record subcontractor work done for reporting and claims purposes.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Identify and address site issues or challenges in a timely manner.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and enforce site safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily site records and reports.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Able to coordinate workers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
