Job summary

HQ View Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities on site and ensure work is completed to drawings, specifications and schedule.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of construction management experience and be adept at coordinating workers, subcontractors, and consultants while upholding safety and quality standards. A company car, free parking, and health insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination with site workers, subcontractors and managers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Monitor workers, subcontractors, and site activities to meet drawings, specs and schedule.
• Coordinate with Site Manager, Project Manager, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, method statements and project specifications.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects or non-compliance.
• Coordinate rectification works and follow up until issues are resolved.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and work progress.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and site documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate work schedules with relevant parties.
• Assist in testing, inspection, defect rectification, and project handover.
• Ensure safety procedures, PPE and site rules are adhered to; maintain good housekeeping.

• Ensure workers comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site rules.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area is safe and organized.
• Assist with site measurements, quantity checking, inspections, and progress claims.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate work schedules with relevant parties.
• Assist in testing, inspection, defect rectification, and project handover.
• Ensure construction activities are completed safely, within schedule, and according to project requirements.
