About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Supervisor to join our team at Senai Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring that all construction projects are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our construction teams, managing resources, and liaising between senior management and site personnel. This role is fundamental to the success of our projects and directly impacts our reputation for delivering excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all site activities, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and timelines
• Monitor and enforce strict adherence to health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies
• Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks to communicate project objectives, safety protocols and work procedures to site teams
• Manage workforce allocation and scheduling to optimise productivity and resource utilisation
• Inspect work quality and ensure all tasks meet specified standards and contractual requirements
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports and safety documentation
• Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to prevent accidents and incidents
• Liaise with project managers, clients and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery
• Manage site inventory, materials and equipment to minimise waste and ensure availability when needed
• Train and mentor site staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive safety culture
• Conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on progress, challenges and recommendations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and best practices
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints and technical specifications
• Sound understanding of project management principles and experience with construction planning and scheduling
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Knowledge of health and safety management systems and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer literacy
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to different site locations as required
• Relevant qualifications such as CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) certification or equivalent are highly desirable
• Experience in concrete construction or precast operations would be advantageous
