Job summary

ASMPT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Support specialist to handle Level 1 end-user support and Level 2 network infrastructure for the Malaysia site. You will resolve incidents, maintain network operations, and coordinate with regional teams to ensure service quality.

Responsibilities include hands-on support for PCs, M365, printers, and VPN; plus asset deployment, documentation, and compliance. Diploma/degree in IT-related field and 2–4 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, service desk, or network support experience.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support for end users and service requests (PCs, laptops, printers, meeting room equipment, M365, basic app access, account issues).
Deliver Level 2 network infrastructure support for LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, VPN, and vSAN-related infrastructure. Coordinate with regional teams.
Handle IT asset preparation, deployment, inventory updates, onboarding/offboarding for local users.
Maintain documentation and compliance: troubleshooting notes, network docs, asset records, and security procedures.
