Job summary

Teladan Setia seeks a dedicated IT support specialist in Malaysia to handle day-to-day tech support for staff, covering hardware, software, networking, printers and access management. You will install, configure and maintain computers, servers and network devices while ensuring secure, reliable systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring systems, backups, security checks, vendor liaison, and providing timely solutions to minimise downtime. Minimum 2–5 years of IT support experience required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 2–5 years of IT support/IT administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, hardware, networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, email systems, printers and Wi‑Fi is a plus.
• Good problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, including hardware, software, network, printer and user access issues.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, servers, network devices and other IT equipment.
• Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, Wi‑Fi, internet connection, and related IT systems.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365, email, cloud applications and other business software.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, passwords and IT equipment allocation.
• Monitor IT systems, network performance and security to ensure reliable operations.
• Perform regular system backup, software updates, maintenance and basic IT security checks.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems and provide timely solutions to minimise downtime.
• Liaise with IT vendors, service providers and external IT consultants when required.
• Maintain records of IT assets, software licences, warranties and maintenance.
• Assist in implementing and improving IT systems and digital solutions to support operations.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide IT support during company events and meetings as required.
