Job summary

TELADAN SETIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced IT support professional to help maintain daily IT operations in our Malacca City office. You will assist staff with hardware, software, network, printers and access issues while ensuring business systems run smoothly.

The role requires 2–5 years of IT support experience, knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, security best practices, and the ability to work on-site and after hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• 2–5 years of IT support experience; strong knowledge may compensate.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, networking.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, emails, printers, Wi-Fi, and basic network administration.
• Knowledge of IT security, data backup and cybersecurity best practices.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and liaise with external vendors.
• Willing to provide on-site support and after-hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees for hardware, software, network, printers and access.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, servers and network devices.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
• Support Microsoft 365, email, cloud apps and other business software.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, passwords, and equipment allocation.
• Monitor IT systems, networks and security to ensure reliable operations.
• Perform regular backups, software updates and basic IT security checks.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime and liaise with vendors as needed.
• Maintain records of IT assets, licenses and service activities.
• Assist in implementing IT systems and digital solutions to support operations.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide IT support during events and meetings.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
