Kejuruteraan P & L Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Selangor. This full-time/contract position will oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specs, quality standards, and safety regulations.

You will coordinate with construction teams, contractors and management, maintain detailed site records, and contribute to timely project delivery while supporting surveying and cost control efforts.

Formación

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as Site Engineer or similar on-site supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations in Malaysia.

About the role

Kejuruteraan P & L Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time / contract position based in Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects on-site. As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role is fundamental to the successful delivery of our projects and will require you to work directly with construction teams, contractors, and senior management to achieve project objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating daily construction activities on-site to ensure work progresses according to the project schedule and specifications
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to verify that all construction work meets the required standards and design specifications
• Preparing and maintaining detailed site reports, documentation, and records related to construction progress, materials, and labour
• Liaising between the design team, contractors, and clients to communicate project requirements, changes, and progress updates
• Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment
• Identifying and resolving construction issues or defects promptly to minimise project delays and cost overruns
• Managing material deliveries, storage, and allocation on-site to ensure efficient resource utilisation
• Assisting with cost control measures and reporting on project expenditure against budget allocations
• Supporting surveying and setting out of construction elements to ensure accurate positioning and alignment
• Maintaining effective communication with site teams and attending regular project meetings to discuss progress and concerns

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Site Engineer or in a similar on-site supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices relevant to civil and structural engineering projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and construction standards applicable in Malaysia
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with construction management software
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
