Job summary

Kejuruteraan P & L Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Selangor. This full-time/contract position will oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specs, quality standards, and safety regulations.

You will coordinate with construction teams, contractors and management, maintain detailed site records, and contribute to timely project delivery while supporting surveying and cost control efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as Site Engineer or similar on-site supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure standards.
• Prepare and maintain site reports and records of progress, materials and labor.
• Liaise between design team, contractors and clients for requirements and changes.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
• Identify and resolve construction issues to minimise delays and costs.
• Manage material deliveries, storage and allocation on-site.
• Assist with cost control measures and project expenditure reporting.
• Support surveying and setting out procedures to ensure accuracy.
