Job summary

D&Y Textile (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Shipping Executive to coordinate shipments, manage import/export processes, and liaise with forwarders, warehouses, and production teams in Johor. The role covers documentation, permits, LC activities, and regulatory compliance to ensure timely and accurate handling of all shipments.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, scheduling shipments and tracking.
• Import coordination - Notifying forwarder on the import and checking the free days with the carrier.
• Informing materials warehouse & production on the date of incoming import.
• Notify forwarder on pull in/out and follow up unloading status.
• Update report of import shipment to the HOD.
• LC application for import shipment.
• Local shipment transportation and documents arrangement.
• Applying import permit.
• Handle the complete export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping arrangements.
• Ensure that export shipments comply with the applicable laws and regulations, including customs duties, taxes, and international trade laws.
• Maintain accurate records of export activities, shipments, and transactions.
• Applying COO
• Verifying insurance premium invoice for payment processing.
• Monitoring all export, import, customs and local shipments function.
• Ensuring all monthly report (SST & LMW) is submitted on time.
• Forwarder Invoice Verification.
