Job summary

D & Y Textile (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an organized accounting professional to manage daily financial tasks in Kulai, Johor. You will handle records, invoices, data entry, payments, and LC coordination in a busy finance team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and clear communication with vendors and internal teams; knowledge of SAP is preferred to support IT-enabled accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting operations, e.g., accounts payable/receivable.
• Familiarity with letters of credit (LC) and bank documents preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions (AP/AR).
• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain spreadsheets.
• Process payments, manage petty cash, and reconcile bank statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Prepare and submit LC documents to the bank and liaise on discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors on financial matters.

Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Invoice Processing:Preparing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

Data Entry:Inputting financial data into accounting systems and maintaining spreadsheets.

Payment Processing:Processing payments, managing petty cash, and reconciling bank statements.

Financial Reporting:Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

Letter of Credit (LC): Preparing and submit the LC to Bank and liaise with the Bank for any discrepancy documents.

Communication:Liaising with internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matter
