Job summary

YLF Food Industries (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistics/Import-Export Coordinator to manage shipments, documents, and compliance. The role requires handling LC documentation and coordinating with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.

You will ensure timely delivery, maintain records, and assist with stock transfers and month-end reconciliation in a dynamic candy manufacturing environment with regional distribution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Shipping, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in shipping, import/export, or logistics.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, and customs clearance.
• Experience with the SAGE system will be an advantage.
• Good communication and written skills in English and Mandarin will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan import/export shipments with freight forwarders and shipping agents.
• Prepare and verify import/export shipping documents.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents on shipment arrangements and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with relevant government authorities, including Customs, MITI, KPDN, and other related agencies.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
• Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and specialized compliance filings where required.
• Assist in coordinating internal stock transfers within YLF, including preparing relevant documents and updating inventory records when required.
• Assist with inventory movement transactions and month-end stock reconciliation when required.
