Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Documentation Officer / Customer Service Executive in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will prepare full set of import/export shipping documents based on LC, origin certificates, and customs declarations, and process orders and inquiries accurately.

You'll handle cargo documentation (LCL/FCL), ensure SOP compliance, maintain system data, and communicate discrepancies to supervisors. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and proficient in MS

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Business or related discipline.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-changing and demanding environment.
Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent.
A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Able to work overtime, weekends and month-end closing.

Responsibilities

Prepare full set of import/export shipping documents based on LC, origin certificate, customs/insurance declarations.
Process customers’ orders/enquiries timely and accurately.
Handle shipping documentation (import/export/BL/documentation).
Manage cargo documentation (LCL & FCL).
Ensure compliance with customer SOPs.
Update all event data accurately in the system.
Communicate discrepancies/issues to supervisor/manager when necessary.
Perform other ad-hoc admin duties as required by Supervisor/Manager.
