About the role

We are seeking a Shipping Cum Production Clerk to join Spectrum Industries Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in coordinating our shipping and production operations. As Shipping Cum Production Clerk, you will be responsible for managing documentation, coordinating logistics activities, and supporting production scheduling to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role bridges our production and shipping departments, making it essential to the timely delivery of our products to customers both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and export/import paperwork
• Coordinate with logistics partners and freight forwarders to arrange shipments and track deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules and shipment status

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a diploma in logistics, supply chain, or customs administration is preferred
• Proven experience working in a shipping, logistics, or production environment (1-3 years minimum)
• Strong knowledge of export/import documentation and customs procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Familiarity with shipping software or logistics management systems
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
• Good communication skills in English and Malay; knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from different departments
• Understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and international shipping requirements
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
