About the roleWe are seeking a Production Admin to join the team at Perfect Packaging Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Port Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our production operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day manufacturing activities. As Production Admin, you will be the backbone of our production department, liaising between various teams and maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our production processes. This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts the success of our manufacturing objectives.
Managing production schedules, work orders and job allocations to ensure timely completion of manufacturing tasks
Coordinating with production teams to track progress, identify bottlenecks and facilitate problem-solving
Maintaining accurate production records, documentation and data entry to support scheduling and planning functions
Preparing production reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and production metrics
Supporting inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished goods related to production activities
Liaising between production, planning and other departments to ensure clear communication and alignment
Assisting with the implementation of production plans and ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards
Handling administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, correspondence and general clerical support for the production department
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process enhancements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with preferably some post-secondary education or relevant certifications in production management or administration
Proven experience of 2-3 years in a production administration, production planning or similar manufacturing support role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with production scheduling software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with production teams, supervisors and other departments
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation, data entry and record-keeping
Knowledge of production processes, manufacturing principles and supply chain logistics
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production-related issues
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities
Basic understanding of quality control and safety standards in a manufacturing setting
