Job summary

Soon Soon Oilmills Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a detail-focused Logistics Coordinator to prepare and process shipping documents, coordinate with transporters, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. You will maintain records in ERP systems and support inventory management.

The ideal candidate has a diploma in logistics management, at least 2 years in shipping/logistics, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma and above in logistics management.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in related fields.
• Knowledge in customs formalities, procedures, shipping and forwarding industry.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Computer literate (MS Office including Excel and Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Illustration).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents (delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs documents).
• Coordinate with transport companies, freight forwarders, warehouses, suppliers, customers and customs agents.
• Track shipments and update customers or internal teams on delivery status.
• Schedule deliveries, collections and transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory and logistics transactions.
• Enter data in ERP systems or other reporting formats.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock reconciliation and reporting.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding shipments, delays or delivery issues.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, delivery schedules and inventory levels.
• Support the logistics manager with administrative tasks and inventory levels.
• Ensure shipping and logistics documentation complies with company policies and regulations.

Job description

This role involves preparing and processing shipping documents including delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs documents. You will coordinate with transport companies, freight forwarders, warehouses, suppliers, customers, and customs agents to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and process shipping documents (delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs documents)

Coordinate with transport companies, freight forwarders, warehouses, suppliers, customers, and customs agents

Track shipments and update customers or internal teams on delivery status

Schedule deliveries, collections, and transportation

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics transactions

Entering and updating data in logistics, ERP systems or any format of reporting that requires by organization

Assist with inventory management, including stock reconciliation and reporting

Handle customer inquiries regarding shipments, delays, or delivery issues

Prepare reports on logistics performance, delivery schedules, and inventory levels

Supporting the logistic manager with administartive tasks and inventory levels.

Ensure shipping and logistics documentation complies with company policies and relevant regulations. Following up on missing documents, damage goods, or shipment discrepancies.

About you

Minimum diploma and above in logistics management

Minimum 2 years' experience in related fields

Knowledge in customs formalities, procedures, shipping and forwarding industry

Strong organization and time management skills

Computer literate (MS Office including Excel and Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Illustration)

Good team player able to work collaboratively
