Job summary

Singtel KL (Sudong MY Sdn Bhd) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Service Delivery Engineer to provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise networks, SD-WAN, servers, virtualization, and cloud environments. You will handle incident management, troubleshooting, and security-compliant change implementations to ensure service availability.

Role focuses on SLA delivery, cross-team coordination, and technical mentoring of junior engineers in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong capability in networking including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN.
• Ability to administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, change implementation, and root-cause analysis in 24x7 environments.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management with internal teams, customers, vendors, and junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 operational support for enterprise networks, SD-WAN, servers, virtualisation, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents involving routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, Windows, Linux, and VMware.
• Implement approved network, system, software, patching, and maintenance changes in line with security and change-management procedures.
• Monitor service availability, system health, capacity, and performance to meet customer SLAs and maintain reliable operations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and prepare incident reports and preventive actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, support 24x7 operations when required, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers.

Skills For Success

• Graduate from Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related course
• At least 3 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure
• Strong capability in networking, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN.
• Ability to administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, change implementation, and root-cause analysis skills in production or 24x7 environments.
