Job summary

SV Prestige Auto Sdn Bhd is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join as a full-time member of our team. You will manage the repair and maintenance process for our Subaru vehicles, ensuring exceptional service from greeting the customer to final invoicing.

You will liaise with the service team to prepare accurate estimates, timelines and costs, while keeping customers informed. Strong communication and a meticulous approach are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles in automotive service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve issues.
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Proficient with computerized service management systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multitasking.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome customers, providing a professional and friendly service experience
• Listen to customer concerns and document service and repair requests accurately
• Liaise with the service team to provide customers with detailed repair estimates and timelines
• Prepare estimated service and repair cost
• Communicate regularly with customers on the status of their vehicle and any additional work required
• Handle customer queries and complaints, working to find satisfactory resolutions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the vehicles, services and promotions
• Provide administrative support, such as invoicing and record-keeping

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing high-quality customer service
• Good working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, parts and terminology
