Job summary

Uber Motors Technik Sdn Bhd is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor for its Glenmarie, Shah Alam workshop. You will be the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, scheduling servicing, explaining costs, and guiding repairs while ensuring accurate records.

With at least 2 years in a similar role and a diploma/certificate in automotive servicing, you will leverage your automotive knowledge to upsell parts and services while delivering superior customer care.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training in automotive servicing/repair (diploma or certificate).
• At least 2 years hands-on experience as a service advisor.
• Strong customer database and contacts.
• Clear communicator with customers, technicians and staff.
• Solid understanding of automotive technology and processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and workflow.
• Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency with industry software and tools.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service with empathy.
• Valid driving license.

About the role

Uber Motors Technik Sdn Bhd, a leading automotive servicing and repair provider with dealer level standards, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor. Our 19,000 sqft workshop is equipped with 10 hoists and manufacturer diagnostics. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for keeping customers up to date and making necessary recommendations for servicing & repairs on their cars when it's in the workshop

What you’ll be doing

• Act as the primary contact between a customer and the workshop
• Understand customer needs, schedule appointments, explain service costs and processes
• Documenting all work performed and maintaining detailed records
• Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities for cross-selling services, parts, and accessories to increase turnover.
• Ensuring a high standard of care and customer service
• Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques

What we’re looking for

• Formal technical training and qualification in automotive servicing and repair, such as a diploma or certificate
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a service advisor, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong customer database and contacts
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills that are essential for clear communication with customers, technicians, and other staff.
• Technical knowledge and a very strong understanding of automotive technology and industry processes is needed to effectively explain services and issues
• Organizational Skills to manage appointments, schedules, and workflow
• Problem‑Solving Skills to resolve customer issues and find efficient solutions.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Computer Proficiency to use industry-specific software and other tools to manage service orders and customer information
