Job summary

Ming Heng Motor Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Service Advisor to join our automotive aftersales team. You will be the key person connecting customers with the workshop, understanding needs and ensuring a smooth and professional service experience.

The ideal candidate has good communication and customer service skills, can work under pressure, and is willing to learn. Fresh graduates with automotive knowledge are welcome; Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• SKM/Diploma/Certificate in Automotive or related field.
• Experience as Service Advisor, Workshop Advisor or automotive aftersales is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with automotive knowledge and the right attitude are welcome.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English; other languages will be advantage.
• Computer literate and comfortable using basic systems/software.
• Positive attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service/repair requirements.
• Advise customers on suitable maintenance and repair services.
• Prepare quotations and explain service recommendations clearly.
• Coordinate with technicians and monitor repair progress.
• Keep customers updated on vehicle status and completion time.
• Conduct vehicle inspection and identify additional service requirements.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Follow up with customers after servicing and encourage repeat visits.
• Ensure all service documentation and records are accurate.
• Achieve customer satisfaction, sales and aftersales KPIs.
