Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Malaysia seeks a sales/specification professional to build relationships with developers and architects, developing proprietary specifications for security systems.

You will promote products, identify design-stage opportunities, hand over to sales at the right time, and support the team with technical solutions and presentations.

Qualifications

• Sales/specification experience in building materials / architectural products / doors & hardware / security solutions / M&E / construction products / project sales.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to present confidently to diverse audiences and groups.
• Able to interpret architectural drawings, specifications & tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Building & maintaining relationships with developers & architects, being the key point of contact for design related enquiries & escalations to develop proprietary specifications for systems.
• Developing & increasing projects pipelines & business opportunities.
• Identify projects throughout the design stage, handover to sales at the correct time to ensure revenue.
• Maintain CRM system as per procedures; provide technical solutions & value-engineering proposals.
• Promote product range to developers, architect & consultant; conduct presentations & trainings; support sales in meetings.
