TMK Construction & Transport Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily roads and infrastructure works, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress on site.
You will read drawings, supervise crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain site records, complying with SOPs and HSE requirements.
Applicants should have at least SPM or a diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, and a valid driving license. Willing to travel or be stationed at project sites as required.
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the approved work programme. Lead, monitor, and allocate daily tasks to workers, subcontractors, and plant operators. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth execution of daily construction activities.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the approved work programme
Lead, monitor, and allocate daily tasks to workers, subcontractors, and plant operators
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth execution of daily construction activities
Monitor daily manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment utilisation, and promptly report any shortages or issues to the Site Engineer
Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and site instruction
Conduct daily inspections of machinery and equipment and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements
Inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and rectify any defects or non-conforming work
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of construction materials to minimize wastage
Ensure all workers comply with SOPs, safety regulations, and HSE requirements, and participate in daily toolbox meetings
Maintain daily site records, attendance, work activities, materials usage, and other site documentation
About you
Possess at least SPM, diploma, or qualifications in the related field
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in roads and infrastructure work
Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and site instructions
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, machinery and safe work practices
Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently under pressure to meet project deadlines
Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel or be stationed at project sites as required
