Job summary

EAR ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Site Supervisor to supervise daily construction activities at the project site and ensure work is completed safely and according to schedule, drawings, and project requirements.

You will coordinate with Project Engineers, managers, subcontractors and workers; read construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications; monitor progress, quality, safety, and site conditions to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site supervision.
• Experience in building, civil, infrastructure, renovation, or related construction projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site procedures, materials, and workmanship standards.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Good understanding of site safety requirements and construction practices.
• Familiar with site inspection, quality control, and construction coordination.
• Able to supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel

Monitor manpower, materials, tools, machinery, and equipment required for daily works

Ensure construction works are completed according to the project schedule and work programme

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, and progress

Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and workers to resolve site issues

Identify site problems, defects, and delays and report them to the Project Engineer/Project Manager
