Nakakumi Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring work is safe, on schedule, and compliant with engineering specs. The role connects management, engineers, and subcontractors to drive project success.
The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering qualification and 2–3 years of supervisory experience, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project timelines.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, on schedule, and according to engineering specifications. This role serves as the vital link between management, engineers, and on-site subcontractors.
Monitor and closely track site progress against the project schedule
Supervise and coordinate among subcontractors, workers, and related parties to ensure all project work meets required engineering specifications and quality standards
Coordinate and conduct mandatory safety briefings and toolbox training on a daily basis
Manage and resolve all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) related issues on site
Prepare and submit regular progress and incident reports to the relevant departments and management
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven working experience as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (the ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage)
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for reporting and tracking
Possess a valid CIDB Green Card (or relevant safety certifications)
Must possess own transport with a valid driving license
Willingness to work overtime or on weekends when demanding project timelines require it
