Job summary

SETIA ALAM GLASS HOUSE SDN BHD is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at the project site in Malaysia, ensuring smooth progress and timely completion. You will coordinate with subcontractors, monitor quality and safety, manage delivery of materials and equipment, and report progress to the Project Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, have 3–5 years of site supervision experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors to ensure works follow drawings, specifications, construction plans and procedures.
• Ensure work quality, site safety and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate delivery of materials, machinery and equipment to the site.
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Monitor project progress and report issues or delays to supervisor.
• Conduct regular meetings with workers and subcontractors to ensure schedules are met.
• Attend site and technical meetings with clients, consultants and relevant parties.

• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors to ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures and work instructions
• Ensure work quality, site safety and compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate the delivery of materials, machinery and equipment to the site
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports to the Project Manager
• Monitor project progress and report any site issues or delays to the immediate superior
• Conduct regular meetings with workers and subcontractors to ensure project schedules and targets are achieved
• Attend site and technical meetings with clients, consultants and relevant parties

About you

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site supervision
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive working attitude, responsible, punctual and able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required
