Job summary

Greenbay CES Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer (Switchgear & Transformer) to drive revenue in Penang and Selangor. The role focuses on promoting LV/MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs, and related power distribution products to data centres, semiconductor plants, and industrial facilities.

Travel within Malaysia is expected. The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering background with 5–10 years of relevant sales experience, and is proficient in Mandarin and English to communicate

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in selling electrical power distribution products.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with consultants, developers, EPC contractors, M&E contractors, and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross margin targets.
• Generate new business opportunities in data centres, semiconductor plants, commercial buildings, utilities, and industrial facilities.
• Promote LV Switchgear, MV Switchgear (GIS/AIS), Transformers, RMUs, Compact Substations, Busway, and related power distribution products.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, developers, EPC contractors, M&E contractors, and end-users.
• Identify project opportunities from design stage through tender and project award.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with engineering and estimation teams.
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and factory visits with customers.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while maintaining profitability.
• Monitor project progress and support customers until successful commissioning.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence.

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross margin targets.

Generate new business opportunities in data centres, semiconductor plants, commercial buildings, utilities, and industrial facilities.

Promote LV Switchgear, MV Switchgear (GIS/AIS), Transformers, RMUs, Compact Substations, Busway, and related power distribution products.

Build strong relationships with consultants, developers, EPC contractors, M&E contractors, and end-users.

Identify project opportunities from design stage through tender and project award.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals with engineering and estimation teams.

Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and factory visits with customers.

Monitor project progress and support customers until successful commissioning.

Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence.

Work closely with principals and manufacturers to develop strategic accounts.

REQUIREMENT:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

5–10 years experience in selling electrical power distribution products.

Proven experience with:

LV Switchgear

MV Switchgear (GIS/AIS)

Power Transformers

RMU

Compact Substations

Experience selling into Data Centres, Semiconductor, Industrial, or Commercial projects is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of electrical single-line diagrams, specifications, and tender processes.

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Willing to travel within Malaysia.

Preferably with Mandarin and English speaking
