Job summary

Eaton seeks a Project Manager for Switchgear and Transformer in Malaysia, Johor Bahru. You will lead projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating with service engineers and subcontractors to meet budgets and milestones, and ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld.

The role requires a recognized engineering degree or diploma, 2+ years of PM experience, and AutoCAD proficiency. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential, with a focus on timely reporting

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline; PMP certification where applicable.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Auto-CAD skill.
• Good communication skill.

Responsibilities

• Manage & control projects to meet the contract requirements and ensure cost control to meet project budget.
• Collaborate with Eaton Service Engineers and manage sub-contractors in resource deployment according to project implementation plan.
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecast and issuance of invoice per contract milestone/progressive claims.
• Manage multiple projects implementation and delivery according to each project requirements.
• Schedule and attend project meetings per project requirements.
• Maintain up to date project integrated costing sheet and traceable tracking record to account for project expenses.
• Attendance of project meetings at site.
• Manage / support contract administration works (ordering, billing milestone, shop drawings & O&M submission).
• Work with Customer Service / SCM team on parts ordering and lead time to meet project requirements.
• Manage sub-contractor work schedule, resource deployment and quality of work.
• Manage customers requests during product FAT / SAT and support Service team on result obtained and report compilation.
• Be committed & responsible for QMS / EHS: Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking; Provide necessary support to sustain QMS / EHS.

What You’ll Do

• Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS / EHS
• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS / EHS requirements
• Ensuring the QMS / EHS meets its goals
• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS /EHS

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline PHP - Project Management Professional Cert
• At least 2 years of project management experience
