Job summary

Unit Concept Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, seeks a Sales / System Applications Engineer to drive revenue by serving existing clients and exploring new opportunities in Malaysia. You will prepare technical proposals, design system architectures, and build strong relationships with customers and consultants across branches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering and 4–5 years’ experience in automation/electrical oil & gas industries, plus good English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• 4 to 5 years experience as a sales / system applications engineer in automation / electrical oil & gas is a plus.
• Customer oriented and customer service minded.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for serving existing clients and exploring new opportunities.
• Prepare technical/engineering proposals with system architecture, datasheet and relevant drawings.
• Build relationships with customers, consultants and principals to ensure growth.
• Monitor inquiries, coordinate with channels and meet deadlines.

Job description

Responsible to serve the existing clients & explore new opportunity.

Responsible for creating new business opportunities in Malaysia, to achieve / exceed sales target set by the company.

Accountable for the sales objectives associated with the assigned territory / account / industry.

Responsible to execute strategic account plan, business plan and team targets for Ex Products & Solutions for hazardous area, Fire & Gas Detectors, Automation Products & Solutions, WiFi routers, UPS, Power Automation System such as Electrical Network Monitoring Control System (ENMCS), LV Electrical System, Microgrid Control & BESS, etc.

Responsible for the execution of day-to-day sales operation inclusive of: (a) Handling clients' enquiries, and alias with proper channels for supporting clients' enquiries within given deadlines. (b) Prepare Technical / Engineering Proposal consisting of System Architecture, Datasheet and relevant drawings, and site visit whenever required. (c) Building customers' & consultants' relationships to ensure business growth and business consistency. (d) Building principals' relationships to ensure continuation support for the agency lines. (e) Monitor the product / project sales payment milestones, including prompt invoicing and payment collection for clients.

Consolidate Malaysia Opportunity, attend weekly and quarterly reviews

To carry out any other assignments from time to time.

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.

4 to 5 years experience as a sales / system applications engineer is a plus especially in automation / electrical oil & gas industry will be an added advantage.

Customer oriented and enjoy customer service nature of business.

Good command of spoken and written English or / and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Work Location : Miri, Sarawak (Willing to travel locally or abroad frequently)

Able to work under pressure and initiate in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
