Job summary

Dover Corporation - through its Markem-Imaje division - is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to grow revenue and manage client relationships in the industrial printing and coding markets.

You will develop and execute territory sales plans, manage distributors, close opportunities, and prospect for new customers while applying the Markem-Imaje sales process. Strong CRM, negotiation, and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Industrial/Manufacturing/Science or equivalent business/B2B sales experience.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience in related industry (printing, marking, coding, automation, packaging, FDA-regulated sectors).
• Experience with Salesforce.com as a CRM tool is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory in revenue and market share and achieve territory sales targets.
• Develop a sales plan that effectively covers all accounts within the territory.
• Manage existing customer accounts including distributors and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Develop and close additional sales opportunities in the existing customer base.
• Prospect for new opportunities and generate new customer relationships within the territory.
• Learn and implement Markem-Imaje sales process and policies.
• Operate prudently within expense guidelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using the CRM database.
