Job summary

Markem-Imaje, a leader in product identification solutions, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. The role focuses on growing revenue, expanding market share, and strengthening distributor and customer relationships within the assigned territory.

The successful candidate will develop strategic sales plans, manage key accounts, and close opportunities while adhering to Markem-Imaje processes, CRM usage, and budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Industrial/Manufacturing/Science or equivalent sales experience.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience in related industry with success in penetrating new markets.
• Experience with Salesforce.com as a CRM tool is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory in revenue and market share and achieve territory Sales targets.
• Develop a Sales plan that effectively covers all accounts within the territory.
• Manage existing customer accounts including distributor and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Develop and close additional Sales opportunities in existing customer base.
• Prospect for new opportunities and generate new customer relationships within the territory.
• Learn and implement Markem-Imaje Sales Process including all procedures and policies.
• Operate prudently and within the expense guidelines.
