PTT Synergy Group Berhad in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, budgeting, and forecasting across projects. You will coordinate tender submissions, prepare BOQ, and manage interim/final accounts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
The candidate should have 5+ years in the field, experience with earthwork/infrastructure, and proficiency in MS Projects, AutoCAD, Excel and Word. Bahasa Malaysia and English fluency are essential.
Manage project cost control, budget, cash flow, and cost forecasting.
Prepare and coordinate tender and bid submissions, including quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Ensure tender submissions meet all requirements and deadlines.
Prepare Bill of Quantity, Letters of Award, Work Orders, measurements, and valuations.
Prepare, coordinate, and manage interim progress claims and final accounts.
Monitor and manage variations, claims, and other contractual entitlements.
Review and manage subcontractor progress claims, valuations, payments, variations, and final accounts.
Administer subcontract agreements and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Prepare and issue contractual notices, letters, and correspondence within the required timelines.
Monitor contract administration, construction claims, and contractual issues.
Work closely with site teams, engineers, and planners to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
Perform other duties as assigned by Contract Manager / Head of Department.
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience in earthwork, infrastructure, drainage, and roads are highly preferred.
Proficient in cost management, strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Proficient in MS Projects, AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively with project and site teams.
