Job summary

LIEN DAK CONSTRUCTION CO. SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 1–3 years of experience to support site contract administration and cost control for large building projects.

You will handle quantity take-offs, measurements, and valuation orders, while coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and authorities on contractual matters and payments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Management required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in large building/civil projects is preferred.
• English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese language ability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for site contract administration, taking off quantities, site measurement/valuation order, and claims.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, consultants, and authorities in all contractual related issues.
• Coordinate, organize, control, and verify payment and claims to sub-contractors, nominated sub-contractors, and consultants in a timely manner.
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Prepare contracts document, project budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Sourcing and purchasing of materials and related products needed for production.
• To check material requisition and ensure that materials are accurate and within the project budget.
• Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, analysis, and related duties as and when necessary.

About you

Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese speaking candidates is an added advantage due to nature of business requirements.
