Job summary

CFM TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD, an engineering company in Johor, is seeking a Purchasing Executive to handle sourcing, supplier selection, purchase orders and supplier performance evaluation. You will work with suppliers to reduce costs and negotiate payment terms while ensuring on‑time delivery and quality for production.

The role requires at least two years in a related field with proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Education: higher secondary or diploma and above.
• Experience: at least 2 years in related field.
• Skills: MS Office, MS Excel and any accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing functions including sourcing, supplier selection, PO preparation and supplier performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with suppliers on cost reduction initiatives and payment terms.
• Monitor on-time delivery and quality from suppliers and sub-contractors to meet production needs.
• Participate in supplier and sub-contractor audits.

Job description

Responsible for purchasing functions including sourcing, selection, preparing purchase order and evaluation of suppliers’ performance.

Work with supplier on cost reduction initiatives and payment term.

Monitor closely to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers and sub-contractors, and consistent quality to meet production requirements.

Participate in supplier and sub-contractor audit.

Liaison and coordination with all related department to ensure smooth production.

Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by superior.

Requirement:

Candidate must have at least higher Secondary / STPM / Diploma or equivalent.

Resourceful, strong negotiation skills, energetic and high level of work commitment and integrity.

Candidate must have at least 2 years of working experience in related field.

Required skill(s): MS Office & MS Excel and any accounting software.
