IHH Healthcare Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex hospital projects in Malaysia.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive project management expertise, and hands-on experience with governance, safety, cost control and stakeholder coordination. You will coordinate with the Malaysia Corporate Office and multiple stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Jobbeschreibung

Lead and oversee assigned new site, expansion, renovation and other projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved scope, technical requirements, safety, cost, quality and schedule.

Establish and monitor project programs, budgets, milestones and key deliverables, and take appropriate action to address delays, cost overruns and other project deviations.

Lead or support tender and procurement activities and oversee appointed consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure delivery in accordance with agreed scope, cost, quality and schedule.

Ensure projects comply with IHH standards, approved specifications, project governance requirements, quality and safety standards, and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, changes and dependencies, and escalat(e) significant matters to Head of Project Management Office where required.

Maintain effective communication and coordination with Malaysia Corporate Office (MCO) stakeholders, hospital users, project teams, consultants, contractors, vendors and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely decisions and project delivery.

Oversee testing, commissioning, statutory approvals, defects rectification, documentation and handover to ensure projects are completed and ready for operational use.

Provide timely project and portfolio updates, including progress, cost, schedule, risks and key issues, and support the implementation and continuous improvement of PMO standards, procedures, reporting and project governance.

Provide direction and guidance to project managers and project teams, promote effective project management practices and support the development of team capabilities.

Carry out any other duties or responsibilities related to Project Management as assigned or directed by Management from time to time.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil, Architectural or equivalent relevant discipline

Minimum 8 - 10 years relevant working experience, with proven experience managing complex projects

Possess strong leadership and people management skills
