Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN MVC RESOURCES SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced executive to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations in Malaysia, delivering safety, quality, delivery, cost, and P&L performance.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, automation, and data analytics to build capacity for expansion and NPI, while coaching teams, ensuring ESH compliance, and aligning policies with long-term business goals. Candidates from Oil & Gas or heavy manufacturing backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of practical manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead large operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to hit targets across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and P&L.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing, automation, and data analytics.
• Build organizational capacity for future expansion and New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Coach teams, champion ESH compliance, and align policies with long-term business goals.

Key responsibilities include driving continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing, automation, and data analytics while building organizational capacity for future expansion and New Product Introductions (NPI). Additionally, the position fosters a high-performance culture by coaching teams, championing ESH compliance, and aligning operational policies with long-term business goals. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of practical manufacturing leadership experience, with strong knowledge of world-class manufacturing and materials management practices.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate, and engage large operational teams.
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving operational excellence.
• Demonstrated team player with the ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience managing operations in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in automation, digitalization, and data analytics to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing, and shopfloor operational excellence.
