Job summary

Karex in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production and Operations Manager to lead and develop the manufacturing team, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality output.

You will plan workloads, monitor SOPs, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with planning to meet sales demand while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of optimizing production KPIs in a medium to large-scale operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations management, preferably in a medium to large-scale organization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, production management software, or manufacturing execution systems.
• Knowledge of OHSMS and EMS systems, quality management tools, and production KPIs.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
