Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Penang is seeking a Talent Development professional to partner with site leaders and HR to foster a high-performing workforce. You will design learning programs, assess needs, and drive continuous improvement across APAC.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in PCBA/manufacturing, strong facilitation, communication and analytical skills, with IPC knowledge. ATD/SHRM certification is a plus; travel less than 40%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science with minimum 3 years’ experience in PCBA environment.
• Familiar with PCBA processes (screen printing, placement, reflow, soldering, wash, conformal coating, rework).
• Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skill and experience with Minitab/Statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and 8D problem solving.
• Experience in chemical qualification activities such as solder paste, flux and pallet design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs and develop training solutions to close performance gaps.
• Collaborate with SMEs or external consultants to develop materials and methods for technical training.
• Deliver relevant technical training programs to employees.
• Support manufacturing-engineering development curricula and regional processes.
• Secure buy-in from site leaders and ensure shared ownership of engineers’ competency development.
• Coordinate development programs to maximize participation.
• Measure training effectiveness through surveys and feedback.
• Manage training resources and shared trainers across sites.
• Expand training resources with functional experts across APAC.
