Job summary

AmMetLife Insurance Berhad is seeking a skilled HR Learning & Development partner to drive capability-building, leadership development, succession planning, AI and workforce upskilling in support of the company’s strategic priorities.

You will lead the annual Training Needs Analysis, translate needs into a learning roadmap and budget, partner with leaders and providers to design and deliver programmes, and monitor outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in relevant fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in L&D.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – must communicate effectively with all management levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of HR to drive capability-building, leadership development and upskilling.
• Lead the annual Training Needs Analysis and translate needs into an annual learning roadmap and budget.
• Collaborate with leaders, SMEs and providers to develop and deliver leadership, technical, digital, AI and behavioural programs.
• Identify capability gaps and implement targeted learning interventions.
• Oversee end-to-end learning administration, including nominations, approvals, vendor management and records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, professional certification and mandatory learning requirements.
• Monitor learning effectiveness and programme impact; report to Management.
• Manage HRDF utilisation and funding, ensuring compliance with HRDF requirements.
