Job summary

GT-MAX CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking an experienced M&E professional to plan, coordinate and manage M&E works across construction sites, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services engineering with at least 5 years of M&E construction experience and the ability to read technical drawings. Attractive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E construction or building services.
• Familiar with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all M&E works at sites to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.
• Review M&E drawings, specs, shop drawings and contract documents for compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements, specs and safety rules.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning and quality checks.
• Prepare and review progress reports, schedules, technical docs and material submissions.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Attend site meetings and client/project coordination discussions.
• Support handover, defect rectification and maintenance coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and site personnel.
