Job summary

SHBT Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced M&E project coordinator to manage and coordinate all M&E works from planning to completion on our Malaysia-based projects in Pasir Gudang.

The ideal candidate will hold at least a Diploma in a related field, with 5+ years in M&E/project work, strong BOQ costing skills, and ability to read technical drawings. AutoCAD proficiency is preferred. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E/project-related works.
• Diploma in related field required.
• Strong experience in BOQ preparation, costing, and quotations.
• Able to independently manage M&E works from planning to completion.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• AutoCAD proficiency is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all M&E works from the initial stage until project completion.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quotations.
• Handle tendering, sourcing, and evaluation of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, cost, and M&E work schedules.
• Manage M&E testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Identify and resolve M&E technical and site coordination issues.
