Job summary

Advanced Electronic Materials (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Operations Manager to lead and coordinate M&E construction activities for large-scale industrial projects in the Penang / Kulim region. You will oversee project delivery, site operations, engineering coordination, manpower planning, subcontractor management, progress, quality and client coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services/Construction Management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines.
Minimum 7 years of relevant M&E construction or project management experience.
Experience in semiconductor plants, manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, data centres or high-tech industrial projects will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead overall project execution and day-to-day site operations.
Manage project schedule, manpower, subcontractors, materials and resources.
Coordinate M&E construction and engineering activities.
Monitor project progress, quality, safety, cost and delivery performance.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
Lead project meetings and resolve technical, construction and coordination issues.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to project requirements.
Oversee testing, commissioning, inspection and project handover activities.
Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and according to agreed schedules and specifications.
