Job summary

CK East Construction Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Projects Coordinator to oversee M&E works on high-rise residential and commercial developments.

You will liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery; review M&E drawings and technical submissions; monitor progress, quality and safety; attend site meetings; prepare reports and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in high-rise residential or commercial developments.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor M&E works for high-rise property projects.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical or coordination issues.
• Prepare reports and maintain proper project documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure defects are rectified and follow up on maintenance-related matters when required.
