Job summary

China State Construction & Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to prepare and monitor M&E documentations and coordinate with subcontractors on submittals and shop drawings. You will conduct daily site inspections and supervise M&E progress to align with the project schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of on-site experience in high-rise or factory projects, strong drawing review skills,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Having at least three years of working experience at relevant field, having experience of working on site under high-rise building and factory project will add an advantage.
• Having strong ability of reviewing and analyzing drawings will add another advantage.
• Good in interpersonal skill, able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
• Hihh detail-oriented and work as team player with good working attitude.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• To prepare and monitor M&E documentations.
• To coordinate with Subcontractors for ensuring technical submittal and shop drawing requirements are fulfilled.
• To conduct daily inspection to ensure quality and standard of works and installations are adhered to drawings.
• To monitor and supervise M&E work progress on site as per schedule.
• To study and review construction drawings and shop drawings.
• To liaise with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervising manager.
