Job summary

Asia Shipping & Forwarding (Sabah) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior LCL Customer Service Executive to manage LCL import/export consolidation activities and coordinate air, conventional and barge shipments. You will handle bookings, documentation, customs clearance and final delivery coordination.

The role requires 3–5 years of freight forwarding experience with LCL exposure, strong communication skills and meticulous documentation control to ensure timely shipper and customer updates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics or related discipline is preferred.
• 3–5 years in freight forwarding with LCL import/export exposure.
• Strong documentation and regulatory understanding.
• Proficient in shipping documentation and clearance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check pre-alerts, manifests, Bills of Lading and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders and overseas agents.
• Prepare and verify shipping instructions and export docs.
• Coordinate customs clearance and cargo release.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve delays.
