Job summary

Kah Motor Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR operations in Penang. You will guide a dedicated team across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and IR, ensuring compliant, efficient people processes aligned with business goals.

You will manage the full employee lifecycle, handle labor disputes, and drive learning & development while partnering with branch managers nationwide. The role requires strong communication, planning, and execution skills in a fast-paced automotive

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in HR or related field.
• 8–10 years HR experience with managerial experience.
• IR knowledge, particularly in disciplinary matters.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour law.
• Fluent in English and BM; Mandarin an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR operations and guide the HR team.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment including manpower planning, job scoping and onboarding.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding and documentation.
• Manage full employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfer, exit).
• Handle employee inquiries and labor disputes.
• Manage industrial relations matters including disciplinary actions.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and statutory contributions.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and HR policies.
• Coach branch managers on performance and development.
• Coordinate HR guidance with business units; manage employee engagement.
